Welcome to Magnum’s Blog!
Magnum is a Facility Dog and Therapy Dog with CHAMP Assistance Dogs. Magnum has quite a story to tell from his puppy days in Maximum Security Prison to his current work with the St. Louis Circuit Attorney's Victim Services Unit.
Magnum cared for people for 5 wonderful years at Relais Bonne Eau Hospice Home. He continues to serve as a Therapy Dog for Hospice of Southern Illinois.
Magnum had a "spa" day this week! He visited his FAVORITE Groomer, Hiroko, and she gave him a fabulous bath and haircut! See BEFORE photo with Hiroko - she's noticing how scraggly Magnum was looking (Sorry Hiroko - I should have brought him to you 2 weeks ago!) And see how handsome he is in the AFTER photo! Magnum gets groomed by Hiroko at Florissant Animal Hospital. He loves Hiroko, Dr. Kuhn and all the staff there. They have taken care of him since he was a little baby. Oops- I mean puppy.
Magnum worked with Miss Christine, Print and Social Medial Coordinator for Hospice of Southern Illinois, to design his Facebook Page this week. He was up early this morning checking to see how many "likes" he got! We need 100 "likes" to help get Magnum a nice clean link. Please go to: https://www.facebook.com/hospiceofsouthernillinois#!/pages/Magnum-Facility-Dog/271577802878733 to see Magnum's Facebook Page and to "like" him! Magnum LOVES all his blog readers! Magnum wants to get 100 "likes" before the end of 2011. Let's see how quickly we can get them. Right now he has 8 "likes". Please spread the word.
Thanks for helping!
Here's Magnum posing for his Halloween Picture. Caught him mid-lick - what are the chances of that? :) He did get a treat for sitting so nice with his Halloween toy!
After spending time at Relais Bonne Eau visiting, Magnum went to the Halloween Parade and met up with one of his best friends. Hope everyone had a fun and candy-filled Halloween! Magnum did get some doggy treats in his Halloween bucket!
